New Host Curt Menefee Takes Reins As America's Most-Watched Pregame Show Returns to Hollywood Roots with New Features

Super Bowl and National Championship Winning Coach Barry Switzer Joins Jimmy Johnson for New ‘Coaches Corner' Segment

NFL Insider Jay Glazer Relocates to LA Studio; Jillian Barberie Returns

FOX NFL SUNDAY, America's No. 1 NFL pregame show for 14 straight years, returns to the FOX Network Center in Los Angeles this season with new host Curt Menefee, new elements and the return of some old friends. Among the new additions, former University of Oklahoma and Dallas Cowboys head coach Barry Switzer joins the cast of the show, headlining an entertaining new segment alongside Jimmy Johnson.

Switzer, who along with FOX NFL SUNDAY analyst Johnson are the only two head coaches to win both a college football national championship and a Super Bowl, will be in studio each week to analyze NFL action and college football's BCS standings. Johnson and Switzer also host a weekly segment entitled "Coaches Corner" in which the two future Hall of Fame gridiron generals break down key issues affecting the league from a coach's perspective.

Also new this season is the weekly studio presence of FOX Sports' NFL Insider Jay Glazer, who sheds his role as NFL on FOX sideline reporter to join the LA cast of Terry Bradshaw, Menefee, Howie Long, Johnson, Switzer, comedic prognosticator Frank Caliendo and returning weather woman Jillian Barberie. Glazer, who last season contributed his weekly "Insider" reports via satellite from one of FOX Sports' featured match-ups, now sits alongside his FOX NFL SUNDAY colleagues, allowing for more repartee as they discuss the latest scoops and breaking news from across the league.

Switzer took over as head coach of the Oklahoma Sooners in 1973 and immediately led the team to consecutive undefeated seasons. Under Switzer's leadership, the team won national championships in 1974, 1975 and 1985. During his sixteen years as head coach at Oklahoma, his teams won eight of the thirteen bowl games they participated in. Switzer joined the professional ranks in 1994, taking over the reigns of the Dallas Cowboys after the sudden departure of Jimmy Johnson. He led America's Team to two straight 12-4 seasons, the second of which culminated in a Super Bowl XXX victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Over four seasons at the helm of the Cowboys, Switzer compiled a 45-26 NFL career coaching record.

Heading into its 14th season, FOX NFL SUNDAY is America's most-watched and highest-rated pregame show on television. Since its premiere in September 1994, the program has won 18 Emmy Awards for its production and personalities including four for Outstanding Studio Show. After two seasons, THE OT, FOX Sports' NFL postgame show on Doubleheader Sundays, has solidified itself as a primetime powerhouse, dominating its time period in household ratings and the key Adult 18-49 demographic. This past season, THE OT saw a +13% gain in viewership (12.1 million viewers vs. 10.7), and crushed NBC's inaugural season of its "Football Night in America" in household rating and share from 7:30 to 8:00 PM ET by +114% (7.7/13 vs. 3.6/6).
