GOPHER CAM MAKES A NAME FOR ITSELF FOX Sports' 'Gopher Cam' has provided some amazing images from never before seen angles this season. The animated gopher that pops up on screen each time the broadcast cuts to the stationary high-definition camera buried underneath the asphalt track has been working overtime. After its impressive debut in Daytona, FOX Sports thought the little guy deserved a reward: a name! During coverage of the Auto Club 500 in Fontana, FOX Sports urged fans to log onto FOXSports.com and suggest a name for the gopher. Since Sunday, FOXSports.com's 'Help Name the Gopher' page has logged over 400,000 views. Some notable mentions so far include Roadkill, Digger, Squish, Flathead and Peek-A-Boo. Fans can submit a suggestion by logging onto http://msn.foxsports.com and entering key word ‘Gopher Cam' in the search box.

CELEBRITY CHEF DISHES UP SUPPORT FOR NASCAR ON FOX/AUTISM AWARENESS INITIATIVE Executive Chef Franklin Becker was personally moved when Autism Speaks was selected for FOX Sports' year-round charitable initiative and wanted to show his support the best way he knew how. This weekend, the Brooklyn-born chef travels to Las Vegas Motor Speedway and prepares meals for the network's massive NASCAR broadcast crew to show his gratitude for raising Autism awareness through FOX Sports Supports.
"Autism is something close to my heart, as my young son is affected by it, and I am thrilled to be cooking at FOX's NASCAR race to support the cause," said Becker, an executive chef at Brasserie on 53rd Street in New York.
FOX Sports Supports, the sports network's on-air charitable initiative devoted to raising awareness, providing financial assistance and spurring volunteerism for select health related charities, selected Autism Speaks to highlight during its entire NASCAR on FOX season.
