Dan McLaughlin

Dan McLaughlin is a rising star in sports television. McLaughlin, 32, plays a major role in baseball, hockey and basketball telecasts on FSN Midwest.

The 2008 season will be McLaughlin's tenth as television play-by-play voice for St. Louis Cardinals baseball. In addition, McLaughlin is in his eighth season as a rinkside analyst and pregame and intermission host for St. Louis Blues hockey telecasts.

McLaughlin serves as play-by-play announcer for Missouri Valley Conference basketball, University of Missouri basketball and national college basketball telecasts on FSN, as well as the Missouri high school football and basketball championships. He also contributes regularly to other FSN Midwest programming.

His work on Cardinals baseball has earned him multiple Mid-America Emmy Award nominations in the best play-by-play category. He is involved in several local charities and hosts the Dan McLaughlin Golf Tournament to benefit the Special Education Foundation.

A 1996 graduate of Lindenwood College, McLaughlin is also a sports talk host on KMOX Radio in St. Louis. Dan, his wife Libby and two children make their home in St. Louis.

Keith "Zonk" Moreland

Keith "Zonk" Moreland is a former outfielder in Major League Baseball who played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, and San Diego Padres. In 1989, the final year of his career, he played for the Detroit Tigers, then the Baltimore Orioles.

Moreland graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, and was drafted by the Phillies in the seventh round of the 1975 draft. He started out as a catcher, but the Phillies also played him at third base and first base. In 1989, playing for American League teams, he also made 80 appearances as a designated hitter..

Moreland played twelve seasons in Major League Baseball. He helped the Cubs win the 1984 National League Eastern Division championship. His best year was in 1985 with the Cubs, when he batted .307 (14 HR, 106 RBI, 12 SB). He also had a good year in 1987, with 27 HR and 88 RBI. He is currently the color analyst for the radio broadcasts of Texas Longhorn football and baseball, as he is a former player for both teams..
