This week's Major League Baseball lineup features FOX's game of the week and an interleague contest between the Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds.
The Indians won the American League Central last year and have high aspirations this year to go further into the playoffs after losing to the Red Sox in the ALCS. The Reds have a new manager in Dusty Baker and a new attitude. Both teams have faired well in the early going, although the Indian's batting has been slow to come around. Once it does, this team should be a force to be reckoned with. For Cincinnati, this team is at a crossroads with a number of veterans being pushed for playing time by a very solid young group. Among the veterans that could be pushed is outfielder Ken Griffey Jr. who at press time was just six homers shy of 600. The oft injured Griffey could be a difference maker for this team if he stays healthy and teams up with a rejuvenated Adam Dunn.
