Two of Major League Soccer's most exciting teams square off this week as D.C. United takes on Chivas USA in FOX Sports' game of the week.
These two teams won their respective divisions last year just edging out eventual MLS Cup participants Houston and New England in the regular season. But injuries took a toll on Chivas at the end of last year and they are counting on a return of their regulars to advance them to the championship game this year.
For United, this year's team is a vastly different team from last year's. Out is midfielder and former MLS MVP, Christian Gomez. In is United's first designated player, Marcelo Gallardo. Question mark is the health of midfielder Ben Olsen, who had ankle surgery in December. If United can get all its pieces pulled together, this club could be every bit as good or better than last years.
