Returning to England for the first time since 1994, the tournament will be held at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Heritage course at the London Golf Club in Kent. Returning to defend his title is eight-time European Order of Merit winner, Colin Montgomery, as well as 2007 Order of Merit titlist, Justin Rose. Last year, Montgomery shot a final round five-under 65 to clinch the title by one stroke over Niclas Fasth, but not before lightning struck twice.

Fasth had to wait 80 minutes for the second of two lightning delays before he could attempt a birdie putt that would have put the event into a playoff. Fasth missed and Monty claimed his 31st overall European Tour title and his first since December, 2005.
