Spurs block Keane's Reds move

According to Tottenham Hotspur, skipper Robbie Keane has not put in a transfer request for a move to Liverpool.

Reds boss Rafael Benitez has offered the London club striker Peter Crouch as well as cash in exchange for the 27-year-old Republic of Ireland captain, but Spurs say they're not interested.
Spurs will reportedly put a prohibitive £20million price tag on the striker in order to discourage Liverpool's interest.
Keane was a fan of the Reds growing up and he shares an agent with skipper Steven Gerrard and vice-captain Jamie Carragher.
The Irishman is under contract with Spurs until 2012. His strike partner, Dimitar Berbatov, is said to have interest from Manchester United.
Both forwards could be tempted by the opportunity to play Champions League football.
