The Blues play the first of three games in Asia next week, following which they travel to Russia for the Railways Cup - and the players are more than aware that Scolari is still shaping up his squad after Avram Grant's departure.
"We are all professionals and, with the new manager, all of the players will want to impress him to make sure we are a part of his plans," Terry said on Chelsea's official website.
Several of Chelsea's high-profile players such as Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba have been the source of uncertainty among the squad, as well as some of the less popular players like Shaun Wright-Phillips, who has been targeted by Portsmouth.
"At the moment we like him, he is a good player but he belongs to Chelsea," Pompey boss Harry Redknapp said.
"We have spent some money on Peter Crouch, so the situation is that we have two other options but Shaun Wright-Phillips is a terrific player.
"You're always looking for one or two players to improve your squad."
