PLAYER NOTES:
--C Anze Kopitar had one assist to push his league-leading point total to 33. Kopitar has 14 goals and 19 assists in 23 games but has not scored a goal in his last six games after totaling six goals in his previous seven games. Kopitar also has a minus-3 rating in his last five games.
--D Drew Doughty scored his sixth goal of the season, matching the total he accumulated in 81 games last season as a rookie. Doughty also picked up his 14th assist of the season, bringing him within seven of last season's total. Doughty has three goals and two assists in his last four games and is now third on the Kings with 20 points in 24 games.
--D Alec Martinez, who missed 20 games because of a high ankle sprain, was activated from injured reserve Tuesday and assigned to Manchester of the American Hockey League. Martinez played in the Kings' season opener before injuring his ankle in practice.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--D Rob Scuderi missed a third consecutive game with an undisclosed lower-body injury and is considered day-to-day.
--LW Ryan Smyth missed a second consecutive game with an undisclosed upper-body injury and is expected to be out until mid-December.
