--G Marc-Andre Fleury did not play Wednesday. He missed a seventh consecutive game with an undisclosed injury but said he is day-to-day as opposed to week-to-week. Fleury practiced, taking shots from injured defenseman Ryan Whitney after the Penguins' morning skate, and could return to full practice next week.
--RW Tyler Kennedy, who is fifth on the Penguins with six goals, left the game Wednesday with an undisclosed injury. He is doubtful to play at Carolina on Thursday.--D Philippe Boucher did not accompany the Penguins on their three-game trip, which opened Wednesday at New York.
