This week's Major League Baseball action features three divisional games pitting teams in the thick of the race for their divisional titles.

First up is the National League Central battle between the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs. The NL Central is a tough division with St. Louis battling Milwaukee for the top spot and the Cubs and Reds just a step behind. Keeping the Brewers in the race is a pitching staff that has gotten the job done and the hitting of outfielder Ryan Braun and 1st baseman Prince Fielder.

Next up, the Detroit Tigers take on the Minnesota Twins for the top spot in the American League Central. This race has gotten much closer of late and the Tigers have finally started to play the way experts thought they would the last two years. Detroit relies on its stout pitching staff to get the job done and the staff is second only to the Mariners in the American League.

Closing out the week, the New York Mets travel to Philadelphia to take on the Phillies in a battle for the top spot in the National League East. This division is a four team race with Atlanta and Florida also in the mix, making every divisional game a must win.
