Three live games headline this week's Major League Baseball action in the final week heading into the 2009 All Star Game.
Leading off, the resurgent Texas Rangers take on the Los Angeles Angels in a battle for the American League West lead. These two clubs are fairly evenly matched with both ranking about the same in both hitting and pitching. Then, in what could be the best game of the week, the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the New York Mets in a game that features some of the most exciting players in the game. These two teams are 1-2 in the hitting stats and 2-4 in pitching in the National League, showing why everyone expects these two clubs to play in the post season.
Wrapping up the week, the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals battle in the National League Central while the New York Yankees head to Los Angeles to take on the Angels.
