Campbell's Hall of Fame Championship

Frenchman Fabrice Santoro returns to Newport, Rhode Island to defend his title in the Campbell's Hall of Fame Championship.
Held at the grass courts at the site of the International Tennis Hall of Fame and Museum, this tournament features a 32-man draw and a $500,000 purse in addition to the Hall of Fame induction ceremonies for the class of 2009. This year's honorees are Monica Seles, Master Player Andres Gimeno and contributors Donald L. Dell and Dr. Robert "Whirlwind" Johnson (posthumously). For Santoro, he will be trying to win his third consecutive title at this event and will face the likes of former champion, Robbie Ginepri and last year's semifinalist, 21-year-old Sam Querrey.
