The second meeting of the 2009 season between the Los Angeles Galaxy and Chivas USA is this week's MLS game of the week.

When these two teams get together it is all out war as evidenced by the first match of the season which ended in a 0-0 draw. The Galaxy looked to pull out the win early in the match as they were a man up after Chivas USA midfielder, Paulo Nagamura, drew his second yellow card and was ejected in the 45th minute.

Los Angeles couldn't capitalize and in the 71st minute, the squads were evened out as Galaxy forward Alan Gordon received his second yellow card in a three-minute time span. Then in the 79th minute, Galaxy defender Gregg Berhalter was issued a straight red card and Chivas USA had a 10-9 advantage on the field. By the end of the night, nine yellow cards and one red were handed out to these rivals who both call the Home Depot Center home.

This second match of the season promises to be equally intense as the Galaxy are making a push to get into playoff position and Chivas USA is battling to stay atop the division. Tune in for live coverage of this intense match up.
