Report: Wrestler dies doing maneuver

An aspiring professional wrestler died after striking his head when he was practicing a maneuver in Severn, Md., police said Wednesday.

Remembering the many athletes sports lost way too soon.

Quentin V. Jackson, 25, died last Friday at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, a day after he sustained injuries at Gillberg's Pro Wrestling Academy, The Baltimore Sun reported.

Police said an investigation by homicide detectives found there was no indication of foul play.

"The commission extends its deepest condolences to the family of this wrestler," Patrick Pannella, executive director of the Maryland State Athletic Commission, said.

"We are deeply saddened by this loss."
