Olympic gold medals were worth getting a little dirty in track and field. VIEW PHOTOS.For at least one day, anyway.
Jones is among a group of Olympic track athletes who were invited and are expected to compete in the U.S. women's bobsled push championships Friday.
Jones created a buzz earlier this week when she tauntingly responded to a challenge from former Rutgers football player Eric LeGrand to a race on Twitter, saying afterward she did not know LeGrand had a serious spinal cord injury in 2010.
LeGrand said he did not take it personally.
Jones finished fourth in the 100-meter hurdles at the London Olympics in August amid criticism that she receives more attention and endorsements than her results warrant. Four years earlier in Beijing, the American came in as the favorite and was in position to win gold when she hit the ninth of 10 hurdles and wound up seventh
