Bergkamp wants one more season

Dennis Bergkamp, currently in the form of his life at , wants to stay on for one more season.

Even though he only signed a one-year deal in July 2003, the Dutchman is ready play for the for a 10th season - something to which all fans will agree to.

Bergkamp told Football Focus: "I'm happy to stay for another year. I feel physically and mentally right to go on,And on a private note my family is settled here. But I've got a contract until July so there's still some time."

The 34-year-old has played a major role in 's quest for the 'treble' - League title, FA Cup and Champions League - with his delicate passes to the forwards, especially top-scorer Thierry Henry.
