host with manager Kevin Keegan still away with a bad back.

City are unbeaten since assistant manager Arthur Cox took over and it will be interesting to see whether Cox and Keegan, who communicate telephonically over team selections, will start with Nicolas Anelka and Robbie Fowler up front.

With the exception of defender Daniel van Buyten, who remains a long-term injury victim with a knee injury, the Blues have a full-strength squad ahead of the match.

Meanwhile, are staring relegation in the face with just eight games left and will be looking to win all their remaining fixtures.

Manager Dave Jones could be boosted by the return of defenders Mark Clyde and Paul Butler from injury ahead of the trip to the City of Manchester Stadium.

Clyde has been sidelined with a calf injury and was sent for another scan yesterday, with veteran Denis Irwin set to start if the youngster is ruled out.

Manager Dave Jones said: "If he can get through the pain barrier then he should be all right to be involved because he knows it's not an injury that can pull again or is at risk of causing any new damage if he plays with it."
