Trezeguet scored his league-leading 17th goal of the season to give Juventus a 2-1 win over Inter Milan on Saturday. He joins up with France for the first time since the 1-0 defeat to Scotland in September 2007.
The 30-year-old Trezeguet is the third highest scorer for France with 34 goals.
Striker Louis Saha, defender Bakary Sagna and goalkeeper Sebastien Frey also pulled out with unspecified injuries.
Arsenal defender Bakary Sagna pulled of the France squad because of injury.
Sagna limped off in the second half of Arsenal's 2-1 loss at Chelsea on Sunday after giving the visitors the lead in the 59th minute with a header from a corner. France plays Mali in a "B" friendly on Tuesday and faces England on Wednesday at Stade de France.
Sagna will be replaced by Lyon defender Anthony Reveillere, the French soccer federation said on its Web site, without specifying the injury. Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger said Sagna has hurt his ankle.
Fiorentina goalkeeper Sebastien Frey also pulled out for an undisclosed reason, and will be replaced by Nice goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, the FFF said.
Louis Saha pulled out of the French squad on Thursday.
David Beckham remains on course to play his 100th game for England in next week's friendly against France after he was retained in coach Fabio Capello's final squad on Saturday.
Capello left off six players for Wednesday's match at Stade de France from the provisional 30-man squad he announced on Thursday.
Forwards Gabriel Agbonlahor, Jermain Defoe and Ashley Young, midfielders Shaun Wright-Phillips and Jermaine Jenas, and defender David Wheater were the players to miss out.
Jenas and Wright-Phillips both scored in Capello's first match in charge, a 2-1 friendly win over Switzerland on Feb. 6.
Goalkeeper Scott Carson and defender Matthew Upson were ruled out of the squad due to injury.
Former England international Paul Robinson was called up to replace Carson, but Upson, who missed West Ham's 1-1 draw with Everton on Saturday with a calf injury, was not replaced.
Carson's injury was not disclosed. He played all of Villa's 1-0 loss to Sunderland on Saturday.
England's third goalkeeper, Chris Kirkland, could also be in doubt after he fell awkwardly in Wigan's 3-1 defeat to Blackburn.
"The rules are that he will join up and they (England medical staff) will assess him and see how he is in the morning," Wigan manager Steve Bruce said. "I have to say he is moving very gingerly with his back, but he will join up. I'm sure the doctors and officials at England will examine him and see what they do with him."
The England squad meets Sunday night after Manchester United hosts Liverpool and Chelsea plays Arsenal in the Premier League. Capello's assistants will watch both games.
Squad:
Goalkeepers: David James (Portsmouth), Paul Robinson (Tottenham), Chris Kirkland (Wigan)
Defenders: Wayne Bridge (Chelsea), Ashley Cole (Chelsea), Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United), Glen Johnson (Portsmouth), John Terry (Chelsea), Wes Brown (Manchester United), Joleon Lescott (Everton), Gareth Barry (Aston Villa), Jonathan Woodgate (Tottenham)
Midfielders: Frank Lampard (Chelsea), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), David Beckham (Los Angeles Galaxy), Owen Hargreaves (Manchester United), Joe Cole (Chelsea), Stewart Downing (Middlesbrough), David Bentley (Blackburn)
Forwards: Theo Walcott, (Arsenal), Michael Owen (Newcastle), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Peter Crouch (Liverpool).
France coach Raymond Domenech called up four new players and again left out Juventus striker David Trezeguet for two friendly matches next week against England and Mali.
Lyon midfielder Mathieu Bodmer, Stuttgart defender Mathieu Delpierre, Lille defender Adil Rami and Marseille midfielder Mathieu Valbuena were among 39 players for Wednesday's friendly against England and a "B" international the day before.
Trezeguet has not played for France since a 1-0 loss against Scotland in September 2007, although Domenech insists "the door is not closed" for him, who has 16 league goals this season.
It will be the last chance for Domenech to test out players ahead of naming his squad in May for the European Championship. France will be in Group C with Romania, the Netherlands and Italy.
He said the high number of players gives him "new options."
The 22-year-old Rami has played only 17 league games in his career, while the 26-year-old Delpierre won the Bundesliga title last season with Stuttgart.
"I wanted to broaden (the squad) completely," Domenech said Thursday. "I wanted the maximum number of players to keep my options open and to cover potential injuries that may occur."
Bayern Munich defender Willy Sagnol, who has an unspecified minor injury, phoned Domenech to say he would not be fit. But Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka joins up despite missing Chelsea's last two matches because of a thigh strain.
Domenech has spoken with Trezeguet, who was largely ineffective against Scotland six months ago. Trezeguet, France's third all-time scorer with 34 goals, previously said he would not consider playing for the "B" team.
"I listened to his point if view. Playing for the 'B' team has no interest for him, and not for me either, since I know his qualities," Domenech said.
Trezeguet still has a chance to make the final squad for Euro 2008.
"It remains possible that I will call him up," Domenech said. "You always need goal scorers. Even though he is scoring less at the moment."
Trezeguet has more league goals this term than any other striker in the squad except Lyon's Karim Benzema, who has 17.
Gregory Coupet is France's No. 1 goalkeeper and will start against England, Domenech said.
Steve Mandanda's outstanding recent form for Marseille makes him a possible candidate to oust struggling Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Mickael Landreau as the team's second choice.
Domenech is looking forward to testing himself against Fabio Capello, England's Italian coach.
"He's a super coach and a good guy as well," Domenech said. "We have seen the tapes of his last matches, there is a real evolution in the team, a lot of hard work."
Domenech expects England to display typically English "rigor" and for Capello to add "an Italian-style solidity."
Former England captain David Beckham could make his 100th international appearance after being named in Capello's squad on Thursday.
Squad:
Goalkeepers: Gregory Coupet (Lyon), Sebastien Frey (Fiorentina), Mickael Landreau (Paris Saint-Germain), Steve Mandanda (Marseille)
Defenders: Eric Abidal (FC Barcelona), Jean-Alain Boumsong (Lyon), Francois Clerc (Lyon), Gael Clichy (Arsenal), Mathieu Delpierre (Stuttgart), Julien Escude (Sevilla), Patrice Evra (Manchester United), William Gallas (Arsenal), Gael Givet (Marseille), Philippe Mexes (AS Roma), Adil Rami (Lille), Bakary Sagna (Arsenal), Sebastien Squillaci (Lyon), Lilian Thuram (FC Barcelona)
Midfielders: Rio Mavuba (Lille), Mathieu Bodmer (Lyon), Alou Diarra (Bordeaux), Lassana Diarra (Portsmouth), Mathieu Flamini (Arsenal), Claude Makelele (Chelsea), Samir Nasri (Marseille), Jerome Rothen (Paris Saint-Germain), Jeremy Toulalan (Lyon), Patrick Vieira (Inter Milan)
Strikers: Nicolas Anelka (Chelsea), Hatem Ben Arfa (Lyon), Karim Benzema (Lyon), Jimmy Briand (Rennes), Djibril Cisse (Marseille), Sidney Govou (Lyon), Thierry Henry (FC Barcelona), Florent Malouda (Chelsea), Franck Ribery (Bayern Munich), Louis Saha (Manchester United), Mathieu Valbuena (Marseille)
David Beckham was recalled by England on Thursday and could make his 100th international appearance in next week's friendly at France.
Beckham was overlooked for coach Fabio Capello's debut win over Switzerland last month because the former captain wasn't playing during Major League Soccer's offseason.
But he returned to action for the Los Angeles Galaxy in last week's preseason friendly against FC Dallas and was named in a 30-man provisional squad.
Even though the squad will be trimmed to 23 after the weekend's Premier League matches, Beckham will face tough competition for a place on the right of midfield from David Bentley, Theo Walcott and Shaun Wright-Phillips.
Walcott was recalled almost two years after making his only appearance, while Bentley impressed when he started in the 2-1 win over Switzerland.
Capello named largely the same squad as he did for the that match, but recalled John Terry and Frank Lampard after they returned to fitness, and drafted in Middlesbrough defender David Wheater for the first time.
The 32-year-old Beckham is desperate to become just the fifth player to reach a century of England appearances, but could be on the bench at Stade de France.
Bentley or Wright-Phillips seem the most likely starters, with Beckham just returning to action and Walcott having made crucial interventions as a substitute for Arsenal this season.
The speedy Arsenal forward set up the crucial second goal for Emmanuel Adebayor in a 2-0 Champions League win at defending champion AC Milan two weeks ago, but has not played an international since becoming the youngest player to represent England - playing a warmup for the 2006 World Cup at 17 years and 175 days.
Walcott made it into the World Cup squad but never played at the tournament. He was left out of Capello's first squad so that he could play for the under-21 team.
Aston Villa forward Gabriel Agbonlahor was picked again after withdrawing from the Switzerland match because of an injury, joining Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen, Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe and Walcott among the attackers.
With Terry healthy, Capello has to decide whether to restore him as captain or let midfielder Steve Gerrard continue in the role after he led the team against the Swiss.
But the coach may not even decide to play Terry alongside Rio Ferdinand on Wednesday, with the in-form Joleon Lescott among those pushing for a place in central defense.
And the 21-year-old Wheater's form has been so good for Boro that manager Gareth Southgate let Jonathan Woodgate join Tottenham in January, although Woodgate was also in the squad alongside fellow central defenders Ferdinand, Matthew Upson, Lescott and Terry.
Squad:
Goalkeepers: David James (Portsmouth), Scott Carson (Aston Villa), Chris Kirkland (Wigan)
Defenders: Wayne Bridge (Chelsea), Ashley Cole (Chelsea), David Wheater (Middlesbrough), Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United), Glen Johnson (Portsmouth), John Terry (Chelsea), Wes Brown (Manchester United), Joleon Lescott (Everton), Gareth Barry (Aston Villa), Matthew Upson (West Ham), Jonathan Woodgate (Tottenham)
Midfielders: Frank Lampard (Chelsea), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), David Beckham (Los Angeles Galaxy), Jermaine Jenas (Tottenham), Owen Hargreaves (Manchester United), Joe Cole (Chelsea), Ashley Young (Aston Villa), Stewart Downing (Middlesbrough), Shaun Wright-Phillips (Chelsea), David Bentley (Blackburn)
Forwards: Theo Walcott, (Arsenal), Gabriel Agbonlahor (Aston Villa), Michael Owen (Newcastle), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Peter Crouch (Liverpool), Jermain Defoe (Portsmouth)
