FC Twente advances to final in Dutch playoffs

BREDA, Netherlands (AP) - Stein Huysegems scored twice Saturday to lead FC Twente past 10-man NAC Breda 5-1 in Dutch league playoffs for a place in next season's Champions League.

Breda's Victor Sikora was ejected in the 57th minute for fouling goalkeeper Sander Boschker.

Twente, which will play either Ajax or SC Heerenveen in the final, advanced 8-1 on aggregate.

Huysegems opened scoring with a goal in the 52rd and Blaise N'Kufo doubled the lead four minutes later off a pass from Romano Denneboom.

Youssouf Hersi scored the third with a close range effort in the 66th before Huysegems converted Hersi's cross for his second goal in the 77th.

Edson Braafheid then scored with a rising shot from 20 yards in the 90th to wrap up the win.

Csaba Feher scored Breda's only goal in the 54th.

Ajax goes into Monday's second leg tie against Heerenveen with a 2-1 advantage. The two legged final will be played May 11 and 18.

PSV, which won the Dutch league, has already secured one of the Netherlands' two Champions League berths.
