Beasley set for return following knee injury

GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) - U.S. midfielder DaMarcus Beasley is preparing to return to Glasgow Rangers after being sidelined for six months with a knee injury.

Beasley, injured during November's European Champions League loss at Stuttgart, resumed full training in late April.

The U.S. Soccer Federation expects he will be available for upcoming exhibition games against England, Spain and Argentina, and World Cup qualifiers next month against Barbados.

On Wednesday, Rangers face Zenit St. Petersburg in the UEFA Cup final. The team then plays Queen of the South in the Scottish Cup final on May 24.
