After the Premier League season ends on Sunday, the league's own Fair Play rankings will decide which club gets the spot. It will go to the highest placed team in the rankings not already qualified for European competitions, and that currently is Manchester City.
Seven more countries - Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Spain and France - will go into a draw to decide two more places in the competition. The draw will be made May 13 at the City of Manchester Stadium, a day before this season's final between Rangers and Zenit St. Petersburg.
UEFA's Fair Play competition is based on the assessments made by official delegates at all UEFA competition club and international matches. The coefficient is based on criteria such as positive play, respect of the opponent, respect of the referee, behavior of the fans and of the team officials, as well as red and yellow cards.
