Reds target French youngster

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has revealed the club are close to securing the services of French striker David N'Gog from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Reds have reportedly made an offer of £1.5 million for the 19-year-old who has netted just once in his senior appearances for PSG.
Following Liverpool's 0-0 draw against Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin, which concluded the Premier League club's three-match tour of Switzerland and Germany, the Reds boss said: "We're working hard but at this moment we have no news.
"We have a young player and hopefully it will be done tomorrow, I think it will be positive."
Despite has lack in goalscoring with the French side, N'Gog has found the back of the net quite often in his performances with France's junior national sides.
