Chopcast: Braves to honor Chipper Jones
FEB 19, 2013 3:44p ET
FOX Sports South's Cory McCartney and Jay Clemons continue their coverage of Braves spring training from Walt Disney World Resort on a day when the team announced that it would be retiring Jones' No. 10 on June 28.
Jones, who spent his entire 19-year career with the Braves and is serving as a guest instructor, discussed his feelings on the honor and his favorite memories from his time in an Atlanta uniform.
But the news does prompt a question posed by manager Fredi Gonzalez: who's next? Which current or former Brave could see his number join the likes of Jones, Hank Aaron, Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine?
Also, after a year in which he posted career-lows in average, home runs, RBIs, slugging percentage and OPS, can Uggla bounce back?
The second baseman has reported to camp lighter than a year ago, but as Uggla told FOX Sports South, that weight loss has been a little exaggerated.
Clemons and McCartney discuss the expectations for Uggla this season, along with the hidden positive in his struggles in 2012.
