Cowboys: Romo a 'big' part of our future

Another offseason full of uncertainty and questions.
But, one question that was immediately put to rest on Monday...who will be quarterbacking the Dallas Cowboys next year.
"We have a great belief of Tony Romo as our quarterback," head coach Jason Garrett Monday, according to The Dallas Morning News. "Tony has won a lot of big games for us, too, to get us to the point where we can play for the division in Week 17 in consecutive years."
Unfortunately for Dallas, both of those games ended in defeats that kept Dallas from the postseason, including last night's 28-18 loss in Washington that saw Romo throw three interceptions and score only 18 points despite being in Redskins' territory on eight of Dallas' 11 possessions.
And now Romo enters 2013 on the final year of his contract, and the Cowboys have a tough decision to make in terms of extending their quarterback's deal beyond next season.
But if Garrett's words have any influence over that decision, then Romo would be leading Dallas for years to come.
"We all know that we want to take the next step," Garrett said. "Tony is going to be a big part of that going forward.
"He's done a lot of great things for this franchise. We're excited about him being our quarterback."
