Division II school unveils camo hunting helmet

The Division II program out of rural Weatherford, Oklahoma unveiled a camouflage helmet on Twitter, but not the typical military camo pattern that has been used by other programs, instead opting for the hunting-variety look.
Understandably, SWOSU is trying to appeal to its rural fan base where hunting is a way of life, but the fall-foliage-sporting-goods-store-hunting-jacket-look with the Bulldog logo just doesn't work on a football helmet.
Thankfully, college football purists can breathe a sigh of relief after Great American Conference Commissioner Will Prewitt as well as SWOSU's Twitter page has said the camo helmet is just an auction item and won't be worn during any games.
To reiterate, the camo helmet is a promotional item that will be available next Saturday (Aug. 3) at our annual fundraiser auction #GoDawgs— SWOSU Athletics (@SWOSUAthletics) July 29, 2013
Maybe Rex Ryan, who is an alumnus of Southwestern Oklahoma State, can win this beauty of a helmet in the auction to wear the next time he tries to run with the bulls in Spain so he will be less noticeable.
