Dwight Howard is fully embracing being a Texan

The new Rocket continues to embraced his new home.
He's attended a Houston-area high school football game at the request of a fan.
He's i mproved team morale all while continuing to work, learn and improve with Rockets great Hakeem Olajuwon.
And now, he's reportedly ready to rock traditional cowboy garb.
According to the Houston Chronicle, Dwight Howard told the media in Taipei Tuesday, "I am a Texan now. I've got my hat at home. I had it made this summer. They said it takes a few months for boots, especially in my size (18). I went to this place in Aspen, and they sell a lot of boots. They said I have to get mine specially made, and it would take four to five months. So I am going to have to find another place to get my boots."
But he's not stopping at just a hat and boots.
"I've got my hat," he continued. "I've got spurs for my boots, just no boots to put them on. I have tight jeans. I've got my things you put on the jeans … what are those called? My chaps. I've got my chaps."
But his new special outfit isn't just for any occasion. He's saving it for a special occasion.
"When we are in the Finals," he said. "I will wear my outfit to the game, and I will wear it after we win. I will save it till then."
Well if that isn't reason enough to make you want to cheer for the Rockets to reach the NBA Finals, then nothing will.
