Jerry Jones: No thoughts on coaching change
DEC 23, 2012 2:01p ET
A report surfaced Sunday that stated Jones was sticking with Garrett as head coach next season regardless of how the season ends.
"I didn't hear that and have not even thought about anything different than Jason being our coach," Jones said in the Cowboys locker room following their 34-31 overtime loss to the New Orleans Saints. "That's the only response that I have to it. … Seriously, and I'll be real serious about it, I have no thoughts about making a coaching change."
Jones said he is "real pleased with how Jason is coaching" and added that "there's not a thought, there have been no conversations about anything differently than our keeping Jason."
Sunday's loss drops the Cowboys to 21-18 since Garrett has taken over as head coach.
