Rangers expect to make Soria decision soon

When the Rangers activate the right-hander remains to be seen, although that time figures to be coming soon.
"We haven't really discussed when we're going to bring him back but I think it will be soon," Texas manager Ron Washington said. "He's here with us right now so in the next day or so we'll make the decision on when to activate him. He did what he had to do. He got his eight or nine innings in just like he was in spring training."
Soria made two appearances for Triple A Round Rock and four appearances for Double-A Frisco. He pitched in consecutive games Wednesday and Thursday and didn't allow a hit. In seven innings, including an appearance in the Arizona League, Soria allowed just one hit, struck out eight and didn't walk a batter.
He hasn't pitched in the majors since 2011 and Tommy John surgery last April. Friday he sounded like a pitcher ready to go.
"It feels real good," he said. "I just have to wait and see what's the next step. I feel good. I don't know exactly when I'm going to be activated. I' here and we'll see what's going on now."
Thursday night he needed just eight pitches to retire the three batters he faced.
