Stoops expects Sooners CB Colvin to play Saturday

Colvin left last week's game against West Virginia after getting kicked in the head and reportedly cracking a molar.
"Aaron's close, " Stoops told the media after Wednesday's practice. He says he feels good. He's expected to go tomorrow."
In all likelihood, the Sooners could go without Colvin against the 1-1 Hurricane. Tulsa ranks No. 71 in the nation in passing offense, getting 217 yards per game. Tulsa lost at Bowling Green 34-7 in its first game and then beat Colorado State 30-27 in overtime.
OU has been exceptional on defense, allowing just seven points in two games and only 173 passing yards per game. Colvin has seven tackles, a pass break-up and a deflection through two games. Meanwhile, OU has gotten good play at cornerback from Zack Sanchez and Cortez Johnson. Sanchez got his first-career start against ULM and Johnson was a starter at Arizona before transferring to OU.
Colvin was All-Big 12 last season. He was second in the conference with four interceptions. He has 26 career starts.
