Juan Pablo Montoya met with members of the media and discussed his return to IndyCar, pre-season testing, his teammates at Team Penske and other topics.

THE MODERATOR:  We have Juan Pablo Montoya rejoining the IndyCar Series.

Juan, going through some testing already, your thoughts?

JUAN PABLO MONTOYA:  I’m really excited.  I mean, I feel like I’m not where I want to be yet with the car.  I feel we have come a long way.

It’s weird.  Sometimes we’re really good, some we’re average.  The first Sebring test was horrible.  I feel like Sonoma was pretty good.  I was really happy.

With seven races in the books for the 2014 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season, James Stewart became the first back-to-back winner, and as the championship heads to Atlanta, the Yoshimura Suzuki rider hopes to have a repeat performance of last year, where he captured the Main Event win. Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Adam Cianciarulo, who is a rookie in the Eastern Regional 250SX Class, wrote the perfect story to what appears to be an incredible career, by winning the first race of his career.

Last year, Stewart took home his first 450SX Class win of the season at the 2013 Atlanta stop. GEICO Honda’s Wil Hahn led wire to wire in the night’s Eastern Regional 250SX Class race en route to the first victory of his career. Now that Hahn has moved to the premier class, he’s yet to finish inside the top five; he tied his career-best finish in Arlington with eighth place.

Kamui Kobayashi and Marcus Ericsson today revealed CT05, the Caterham F1 Team car the Japanese and Swedish drivers will be competing with in the 2014 FIA Formula One World Championship.

As originally reported at Caterhamf1.com

The first car to be fully designed and built at Caterham’s Leafield Technical Centre, CT05 is the team’s answer to the all-new F1 regulations that have come into force in 2014. The car will race in Caterham’s new all-green 2014 livery and, for the fourth year in a row, will be powered by Renault Sport F1, using the new Renault Energy F1 engine mated to a Red Bull Technology gearbox.
