F1: Di Resta Admits Perez Likely To Replace Him

Paul di Resta has admitted that his Formula One career appears over.

The Scot is being sued in London’s High Court by former manager Anthony Hamilton, and during testimony on Tuesday, the 27-year-old admitted he is unlikely to return for a fourth season with Force India in 2014.

Ferrari has confirmed that Pedro de la Rosa and Jules Bianchi will take part in next week’s Pirelli test in Bahrain.

The team says that the Spaniard will use the test to continue his job of improving the correlation between the Maranello simulator and the track.

With the Formula One season in the books, Mark Webber was finally able to turn his first laps aboard Porsche’s as yet unnamed LMP1 car. The Australian is still under contract to Red Bull Racing through the end of 2013, but received the team’s blessing to test in an unbranded white firesuit at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve near Portimão, Portugal.

Photos of the new Audi R18 e-tron quattro have surfaced from a private test at Sebring International Raceway.

Only a week after the World Endurance Championship finale in Bahrain, the World Championship-winning squad was back in action, putting its R18 successor through a series of endurance tests on the 3.7-mile airfield circuit in Sebring, Fla.

At first sight, the R18 does not look much different than the 2013 car. However, it faced a series of changes to suit the technical regulations for 2014, with a focus on efficiency.
