The Sauber F1 Team is launching a new interactive cutaway Formula One car video on its YouTube channel. The video shows the cutaway model and enables users to click on the different sections of it, which then takes them directly to the relevant footage explaining the purpose of the selected part.
Members of the racing community are attempting to honor the memory of Sean Edwards by petitioning the governing body of Porsche SuperCup to hold the remaining two races of the 2013 season as “non-points scoring rounds.”

If successful, the initiative would allow Edwards to maintain his lead in the overall points standings and award him the Porsche SuperCup Championship posthumously. Jon Miller, petition organizer, has stated that within the first 36 hours of the petition posting that over 3000 signatures have been gathered.

Plenty of drama played out this weekend for the Australia GP.
Take a look at the events leading up to Marc Marquez receiving a disqualification after failing to pit within the designated rules as outlined by Race Direction. The disqualification for Marquez was simply a worst case scenario for the Repsol Honda rider as Jorge Lorenzo earned the total possible points -25- for his first place finish.

A Danish newspaper has looked into the future and spotted Kevin Magnussen, the brand new Formula Renault 3.5 champion, at McLaren in 2015.
The report in the tabloid newspaper Ekstra Bladet also said the now 21-year-old Dane’s Honda-powered teammate in two years time will be none other than Fernando Alonso.
