This morning, Red Bull KTM announced that its lead 250cc rider and former two-time world Motocross Champion Marvin Musquin suffered a torn ACL while practicing last week. The 250SX Class favorite placed his foot down in a corner and tweaked his knee, but it appeared to be minor. Further tests revealed the tear and Musquin is scheduled to undergo surgery in his native France this week.

“This is an unfortunate injury, but we know Marvin will do the all steps necessary to recover as quickly as possible and come back when he is 100%,” said Red Bull KTM Factory Team Manager Roger DeCoster in the announcement.
