As the pressure builds for Marc Marquez to again ride into the record books, the young Spaniard is staying calm, and refuting any suggestion that he should slow down.

Pramac Racing’s Andrea Iannone showed some good pace on Friday at Le Mans to finish second overall after two practice sessions.

The Italian rider has had a strong start to his second MotoGP™ campaign with three top ten finishes, before crashing out in Jerez. This weekend he is looking to bounce back from the disappointment of that DNF in the south of Spain and he showed his determination on Friday as he trailed pace setter Marc Marquez by just 0.007s in FP2.

INDIANAPOLIS – At one time the Indianapolis 500 was the pinnacle form of racing that race drivers in the United States Auto Club (USAC) aspired to achieve. Over the last three decades, however, the sport moved away from the American grassroots form of racing such as USAC Midgets, Sprints and Silver Crown to road racers from Europe and South America.

Bryan Clauson hopes to bring USAC back to the Indy 500, beginning next season, when the three-time USAC National Driver’s Champion was announced as the driver for Jonathan Byrd’s Racing in 2015.

As James Hinchcliffe rolled up in his golf cart to the Andretti Autosport garage in Gasoline Alley at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with girlfriend Kirsten Dee he leaned over and gave her a kiss before heading back to work.

The popular Verizon IndyCar Series driver from Toronto – affectionately know as the “Mayor of Hinchtown” – is back in office after he passed a closed concussion test by the INDYCAR Medical Staff Thursday. That means Hinchcliffe could return to the cockpit of the No. 27 Andretti Autosport Dallara/Honda after he passed the medical evaluation.
