Point spread: TCU (+9.5) covers by losing by fewer than 9.5 points (5)
Moneyline: Arizona wins as -500 favorite (bet $10 to win $12 total); TCU was +300 underdog (bet $10 to win $40 total)
Total scoring over/under: Over 146.5 points scored by both teams combined (165)

PICK: TCU (+10 at FOX Bet at time of pick) to lose by fewer than 10 points (win)

NOTES: No. 1 Arizona needed overtime to hold off No. 9 TCU. Bennedict Mathurin scored 11 of Arizona's 13 points during a key stretch and finished with a season-high 30.

Arizona came thisclose to winning in regulation but Dalen Terry's dunk after a steal came just after the buzzer.

Freshman center Eddie Lampkin Jr. scored a career-high 20 points to go with 14 rebounds for TCU.

Arizona center Christian Koloko was 12-for-13 shooting from the field, including five dunks. But the rest of the Wildcats struggled from the field (19-for-55 shooting – 34.5% – including 5-for-27 on 3-pointers, 18.5%).

Purdue 81, Texas 71

Point spread: Purdue (-3.5) covers by winning by more than 3.5 points (10)
Moneyline: Purdue wins as -175 favorite (bet $10 to win $15.71 total); Texas was +130 underdog (bet $10 to win $23 total)
Total scoring over/under: Over 135 points scored by both teams combined (152)

PICK: Over 133.5 total points (at FOX Bet at time of pick) scored by both teams combined (win)

Miami (Fla.) 79, Auburn 61

Point spread: Miami (+7) covers by winning outright
Moneyline: Miami wins as +230 underdog (bet $10 to win $33 total); Auburn was -303 favorite (bet $10 to win $13.30 total)
Total scoring over/under: Under 144 points scored by both teams combined (140)

PICK: Auburn (-7 at FOX Bet) to win by more than 7 points (loss)

NOTES: The Tigers, who were ranked No. 1 during the regular season, became the second No. 2 seed to become spectators of the tournament, joining Kentucky.

Auburn had a 19-game winning streak but lost four of its final eight games.

Miami was the lone No. 10 seed to advance out of the first round. The Hurricanes did not trail against the Tigers.

The Hurricanes' key to success? Taking care of the basketball. Miami had four turnovers against Auburn after turning it over three times in the 68-66 win over No. 7 USC in the first round.

Texas Tech 59, Notre Dame 53

Point spread: Notre Dame (+8) covers by losing by fewer than 8 points (6)
Moneyline: Texas Tech wins as -400 favorite (bet $10 to win $12.50 total); Notre Dame was +275 underdog (bet $10 to win $37.50 total)
Total scoring over/under: Under 132.5 points scored by both teams combined (112)

PICK: Texas Tech (-8 at FOX Bet) to win by more than 8 points (loss)

NOTES: Texas Tech advanced to the Sweet 16 for the third time in five seasons.

Senior reserve forward Marcus Santos-Silva came up huge with a minute to go for the Red Raiders.

Santos-Silva subbed in then blocked a layup attempt by Blake Wesley with 58 seconds to go and was fouled.

Santos-Silva, who shot 46.1% from the line this season, then made two free throws for a 55-52 lead.

The Red Raiders survived despite going seven minutes without a field goal in the second half. Texas Tech went 10-for-10 from the line down the stretch to pull away.

Iowa State 54, Wisconsin 49

Point spread: Iowa State (+3.5) covers by winning outright
Moneyline: Iowa State wins as +140 underdog (bet $10 to win $24 total); Wisconsin was -200 favorite (bet $10 to win $15 total)
Total scoring over/under: Under 120.5 points scored by both teams combined (103)

PICK: Wisconsin (-3.5 at FOX Bet) to win by more than 3.5 points (loss)

NOTES: Iowa State, which went 2-22 last season (0-18 in Big 12 play), advanced to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2016 and the sixth time in school history.

The key to the Cyclones' success? Defense. Iowa State held the Badgers to a season-low 29.8% shooting (14-for-47) from the field and forced a season-high 17 turnovers.

Duke 85, Michigan State 76

Point spread: Duke (-6.5) covers by winning by more than 6.5 points (9)
Moneyline: Duke wins as -303 favorite (bet $10 to win $13.30 total); Michigan State was +215 underdog (bet $10 to win $31.50 total)
Total scoring over/under: Over 145.5 points scored by both teams combined (161)

PICK: Duke (-6.5 at FOX Bet) to win by more than 6.5 points (win)

NOTES: The Blue Devils (-6.5) covered by closing the game with a 20-6 run over the final five minutes.

Duke iced the game by going 7-for-8 shooting on free throws in the final minute.

The Blue Devils came out on top, thanks to their shooting from the field (32-for-56, 57.1%).

The win was No. 1,200 in Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski’s career. Krzyzewski will close his career with an all-time record of 13-3 against Michigan State coach Tom Izzo.

The Spartans shot better from 3-point range (11-for-22, 50%) than they did from the field (27-for-65, 41.7%). Michigan State was 11-for-12 (91.7%) from the line.

Villanova 71, Ohio State 61

Point spread: Villanova (-5) covers by winning by more than 5 points (10)
Moneyline: Villanova wins as -213 favorite (bet $10 to win $14.69 total); Ohio State was +170 underdog (bet $10 to win $27 total)
Total scoring over/under: Under 136.5 points scored by both teams combined (132)

PICK: Villanova (-5 at FOX Bet) to win by more than 5 points (win)

NOTES: Ohio State never led and the game was tied once (3-3).

The Buckeyes played the final 8:55 without forward Kyle Young, who was being evaluated for a concussion. Young missed several games late in the season while in the concussion protocol.

Ohio State was hurt by going 6-for-11 (54.5%) from the line. Villanova was 17-for-20 shooting (85%) from the line as the Wildcats scored 11 more points than the Buckeyes from the line.

Houston 68, Illinois 53

Point spread: Houston (-3.5) covers by winning by more than 3.5 points (15)

PICK: Under 133.5 points (at FOX Bet) scored by both teams combined (win)

NOTES: The Cougars are in the Sweet 16 for the third consecutive season.

Houston beat a single-digit seed for the first time since 1984.

The Illini trailed 47-45 after a three-point play by Kofi Cockburn with eight minutes to go but the Cougars closed the game on a 21-8 blitz to pull away.

Illinois was hurt by cold shooting (17-for-50 from the field, 34%) and turnovers (17, eight more than Houston).

Gonzaga 82, Memphis 78

Point spread: Memphis (+9.5) covers by losing by fewer than 9.5 points (4)
Moneyline: Gonzaga wins as -714 favorite (bet $10 to win $11.40 total); Memphis was +350 underdog (bet $10 to win $45 total)
Total scoring over/under: Over 154.5 points scored by both teams combined (160)

PICK: Gonzaga (-10.5 at FOX Bet) to win by more than 10.5 points (loss)

NOTES: After struggling from the line for most of the game, the Zags made their final six free throws to hold off the Tigers as Gonzaga reached the Sweet 16 for the seventh season in a row.

The Zags followed form as the over hit in six of the eight games Saturday.

Arkansas 53, New Mexico State 48

Point spread: New Mexico State (+6.5) covers by losing by fewer than 6.5 points (4)
Moneyline: Arkansas wins as -303 favorite (bet $10 to win $13.30 total); New Mexico State was +215 underdog (bet $10 to win $31.50 total)
Total scoring over/under: Under 138.5 points scored by both teams combined (101)

PICK: Arkansas (-6.5 at FOX Bet) to win by more than 6.5 points (loss)

NOTES: The Razorbacks sealed the game by scoring their final 11 points at the free-throw line over the last 5:24. Arkansas finished 22-for-25 shooting (88%) from the line.

Under bettors were feeling confident as the Razorbacks led 26-17 at halftime. The 53 points were a season-low for Arkansas. New Mexico State's low came in a 71-46 loss to Sam Houston on Jan. 20.

Saint Peter's 70, Murray State 60

Point spread: Saint Peter's (+8.5) covers by winning outright
Moneyline: Saint Peter's wins as +275 underdog; Murray State -400 favorite (bet $10 to win $12.50 total); Murray State was -400 favorite (bet $10 to win $12.50 total)
Total scoring over/under: Over 129 points scored by both teams combined (130)

PICK: Saint Peter’s (+8.5 at FOX Bet) to lose by fewer than 8.5 points (or win outright); Saint Peter's to win (+275 at FOX Bet; bet $10 to win $37.50 total) (win, win)

NOTES: Saint Peter's Cinderella run continues as the Peacocks advance to the Sweet 16 as a No. 15 seed. Saint Peter's joins Oral Roberts (2021) and Florida Gulf Coast (2013) as No 15 seeds to reach the Sweet 16.

Murray State saw the nation's longest active win streak end at 21. That honor now belongs to … Saint Peter's (nine).

Saint Peter's bettors had a relatively easy time as the Peacocks never trailed against the Racers. Over bettor, however, saw their hopes dashed in the final minute. Two free throws by Saint Peter's' Hassan Drame with 23 seconds to go eclipsed the over/under of 129.

UCLA 72, Saint Mary's 56

Point spread: UCLA (-3) covers by winning by more than 3 points (16)
Moneyline: UCLA wins as -154 favorite (bet $10 to win $16.49 total); Saint Mary's was +120 underdog (bet $10 to win $22 total)
Total scoring over/under: Over 126 points scored by both teams combined (128)

PICK: Under 126 total points scored by both teams combined (loss)

NOTES: A layup by UCLA's Johnny Juzang with 54 seconds to go made the score 72-55 and cashed over tickets for bettors (126).

UCLA improved to 22-0 when holding the opponent to under 66 points this season.

The Bruins will face North Carolina in the Sweet 16 in a battle of college basketball blue bloods. The schools have combined for 17 NCAA basketball titles, 11 by UCLA, six for the Tar Heels.

Providence 79, Richmond 51

Point spread: Providence (-3.5) covers by winning by more than 3.5 points (28)
Moneyline: Providence wins as -182 favorite (bet $10 to win $15.49 total); Richmond was +135 underdog (bet $10 to win $23.50 total)
Total scoring over/under: Under 134.5 points scored by both teams combined (130)

PICK: Richmond (+3 at FOX Bet) to lose by fewer than 3 points or win outright (loss)

NOTES: Providence is in the Sweet 16 for the first time in 25 years. The Friars last advanced past the second round in 1997 when they reached the Elite Eight.

Providence entered the game shooting 34.3% from 3-point range but were 12-for-22 shooting (a season-best 54.5%) on 3-pointers against Richmond.

The under 134.5 points bettors rejoiced as the teams combined for only two baskets and a pair of free throws in the final 3:05. Three turnovers in the final 20 seconds helped under bettors cash their tickets.

Michigan 76, Tennessee 68

Point spread: Michigan (+6.5) covers by winning outright
Moneyline: Michigan wins as +250 underdog (bet $10 to win $35 total); Tennessee was -345 favorite (bet $10 to win $12.90 total)
Total scoring over/under: Over 136.5 points scored by both teams combined (144)

PICK: Under 136 total points scored by both teams combined (loss)

NOTE: The Wolverines advancing to the Sweet 16 put an end to the inconsistency that has plagued Michigan since early February. Juwan Howard's squad won consecutive games (at the NCAA Tournament, no less) for the first time since Feb. 8 and 10. Michigan entered the tournament alternating losses and wins for nine games.

Kansas 79, Creighton 72

Point spread: Creighton (+12.5) covers by losing be fewer than 12.5 points (7)
Moneyline: Kansas wins as -909 favorite (bet $10 to win $11.10 total); Creighton was +475 underdog (bet $10 to win $57.50 total)
Total scoring over/under: Over 140 points scored by both teams combined (151)

PICK: Kansas (-10.5 at FOX Bet) to win by more than 10.5 points (loss)

NOTES: Creighton's dreams of an upset ended when the Bluejays went the final 1:47 without scoring while Kansas closed with a 6-0 run. Creighton backers (+12.5) still cashed tickets.

Guard Remy Martin led Kansas with 20 points. The Arizona State transfer did not lead the Jayhawks in scoring all season but has done so in both NCAA Tournament games.

With the victory, the Jayhawks tied Kentucky for most Division I basketball wins (2,353). North Carolina is third with 2,320 and Duke is fourth with 2,243.

The teams put on a free-throw shooting clinic. Kansas made its first 17 free throws and finished 19-for-20 (95%) Creighton was 18-for-21 (85.7%).

The Bluejays used just six players, with three playing all 40 minutes and another played 38.

Kansas coach Bill Self earned a $100,000 bonus by reaching the Sweet 16, bringing his season bonus total to $225,000.

North Carolina 93, Baylor 86 (OT)

Point spread: North Carolina (+5.5) covers by winning outright
Moneyline: North Carolina wins as +185 underdog (bet $10 to win $28.50 total); Baylor was -250 favorite (bet $10 to win $14 total);
Total scoring over/under: Over 148 points scored by both teams combined (179)

PICK: Baylor (-5.5 at FOX Bet) to win by more than 5.5 points (loss)

NOTES: For the fifth straight year, the defending champion failed to advance past the first weekend as the East Region is up for grabs as top-seeded Baylor attempted a furious comeback but fell short against No. 8 North Carolina. No. 2 seed Kentucky lost to No. 15 Saint Peter's 85-79 in overtime Thursday.

The Tar Heels led 67-42 with 10:49 left in the second half (the Bears were +15000 at one sports book at this point) and Baylor led by as many as four points but faltered in overtime. The Bears fell short in matching BYU in 2012 for largest comeback in NCAA history. The Cougars trailed by 25 points before beating Iona 78-72 in a play-in game.

North Carolina and Baylor blew past the over/under number of 148 combined points in regulation, which ended in an 80-80 tie.

It was the 21st time a No. 1 seed lost in the round of 32.
