Daniels won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award on Thursday, which is presented to the quarterback who best exemplifies character, scholastic and athletic achievement.
Here's a look at the latest Heisman odds.
HEISMAN TROPHY ODDS*
Jayden Daniels, LSU QB: -1400 (bet $10 to win $10.71 total)
Michael Penix Jr., Washington QB: +900 (bet $10 to win $100 total)
Bo Nix, Oregon QB: +2200 (bet $10 to win $230 total)
Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State WR: +20000 (bet $10 to win $2,010 total)
* As of 12/6/2023
On the season, Daniels is 236-for-327 passing (72.2%) for 3,814 yards, 40 touchdowns and four interceptions. He also has 135 carries for 1,134 yards (8.4 per carry) and 10 rushing touchdowns.
The senior is the only player in Football Bowl Subdivision history to pass for 12,000 yards and rush for 3,000 yards in his career. Daniels has 12,749 passing yards and 3,307 rushing yards heading into the bowl game.
Daniels is also the only player in FBS history to rush for 200 yards and pass for 350 yards in a game, a feat he accomplished against Florida on Nov. 11, setting the SEC record for total offense with 606 total yards (234 rushing, 372 passing) against the Gators.
Harrison, the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison, had 67 catches for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns.
USC QB Caleb Williams, the 2022 Heisman winner, was considered the heavy favorite at the beginning of the season, as the Trojans started 6-0 and were ranked in the top 10.
But Williams' chances of repeating faded as the Trojans lost five of their next six games.
Among those not to make the final four were Alabama QB Jalen Milroe and Michigan QB J.J. McCarthy, who was the betting favorite earlier in the season. They were listed on the odds list prior to Monday's announcement.
The Heisman has been given to the nation's most outstanding college football player since 1935.
