Paul Chryst knows value of Badgers job

Published May. 14, 2015 9:37 p.m. ET

Paul Chryst has returned home to be the head coach of the Wisconsin Badgers after leaving for Pitt. Chryst played quarterback for the Badgers from 1986-1989 and was the offensive coordinator from 2006-2011 so it's understandable that he would call this his dream job.

He stopped just short of that during a sit down with the Big Ten Network but here is what he had to say:

"I feel fortunate and am excited to be here. But I thought every job I had coaching football was a dream job. But it is pretty unique to be able to come back and coach where my father did, where I was a player and an assistant. Wisconsin isn’t just any job to me. I have been really fortunate and it continues to be that way."

Badgers fans are certainly hoping that Chryst is around for a long time to guide the program.
