Week 2 of the 2021 college football season was one for the books.

Fans were treated to an early blockbuster matchup as No. 12 Oregon kicked off Saturday's action with an impressive road win over No. 3 Ohio State.

This was the Ducks' first victory over the Buckeyes in program history and it came in front of a full house of lively fans at Ohio Stadium in Columbus.

Meanwhile, a matchup between in-state rivals No. 9 Iowa State and No. 10 Iowa lived up to the hype, as the Hawkeyes put on a defensive clinic in a 27-17 victory to take the Cy-Hawk Trophy.

Trading off

The Buckeyes cut it to a one-score game early on in the fourth quarter, thanks to this run from TreVeyon Henderson.

The Buckeyes got within a TD at 35-28, but Oregon DB Verone McKinley III would come up with a huge interception with 2:50 left in the game, sealing the win for the Ducks.
