Braves OF completely fools runner into double play with brilliant deke

There are several ways to get a double play in baseball. You can turn one on a grounder in the infield. There's the strike-em-out-throw-em-out double play. Yasiel Puig is familiar with gunning runners down at the plate after recording an out in the outfield. But this double play from Braves outfielder Ender Inciarte was brilliant.

Inciarte turned a routine fly ball into two outs simply by making Carlos Ruiz, the runner at first, think the ball was going to fall for a base hit. Ruiz took the bait and caught himself in no-man's land between first and second. Whoops.

The deke even fooled his teammates.

"I was actually yelling at [right fielder Nick Markakis] because I didn't think [Inciarte] knew where he was going," Jeff Francoeur,, told MLB.com's Mark Bowman. "If I ever play against him, I'll have to remember that one."

The 7-24 Braves don't do many things well, but at least they can fool runners into double plays. Unfortunately, it didn't help enough as they fell to the Phillies, 3-2.
