On Tuesday, Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Nate Karns joined some exclusive company.

Karns homered in his first at-bat against the Philadelphia Phillies, becoming the first American League pitcher to go yard since 2011:

He's also joins Esteban Yan as the only Rays pitchers to ever homer.

Of course, this comes off of the Phillies and their top prospect Aaron Nola. This just isn't the Phillies' year.
