Through all his partying, Gronk finds time to stun Trout with fastball

On the NFL calendar, we aren't even halfway through the offseason. On the Rob Gronkowski calendar, there is never an offseason.

And so, nary a week into April, a quick update on the Patriots tight end's fun-filled few days.

Let's start with his latest endeavor, hanging out with Mike Trout and the Angels in Thursday night's Freeway Series opener against the Dodgers in Anaheim, Calif.

Here he is throwing a helluva fastball for the ceremonial first pitch.

And here he is after Trout's first-inning home run, one of the first guys to greet the American League MVP ... in the Angels' dugout ... at the top of the dugout ... during the game.

Rewind a day and, during Wednesday's showing of "Jim Rome on Showtime," the 25-year-old Super Bowl champion ...

Described his perfect wife:

"Cleans, cooks, makes big cash, stays at home, lets me do whatever I want."

Gave some insight into what Tom Brady yells after throwing a touchdown:

He went from soft and reserved to brutally honest on this one, starting with Brady is "just fired up," per CBSSports.com, then saying it's "a natural reaction" before giving Rome "'Hell yeah!' and s**t like that." Then finally ...

"OK ... it's more like 'Hell yeah mother******! I knew it! I knew you could do it! You're gonna get some b****es after the game now!'"

OK, then.

Gave his personal feelings on the concussion issue:

"Uh, so if we’re sitting here, and I had to choose would I want a concussion right now or my knee blown out, I’m going to say a concussion," Gronkowski said, per CBSSports.com. "Why would I want to sit there for eight months and not do anything, when with a concussion I’ll just wake up and I’ll be ready to go again?"

Gronkowski saw his 2013 season cut short due to a blown out knee suffered against Cleveland in December.

Before he took to the airwaves, however, Gronk hit South Beach last week to, according to NESN, do shots with strangers at a bar.

Of course, that was apparently after he danced — and twerked — on an outdoor concert stage in Miami.

Gotta imagine the Patriots aren't entirely thrilled with the antics, but hey, it could be worse.

He could be walking on airplanes in mid-air.

Right, Lions?
