James Harden, not Steph Curry, wins MVP at first NBPA Awards

Golden State Warriors sharpshooter Stephen Curry won the NBA MVP award a couple months back and it wasn't particularly close, with Curry taking 100 of 130 first-place votes to beat Houston Rockets guard James Harden by a wide margin.

Well, now Harden has some bragging rights of his own.

At the debut of the NBA Players Association Awards on Tuesday night, Harden was named MVP by his fellow players.

Harden averaged 27.4 points, 7 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game last season, leading the Rockets to the Western Conference finals, where they were beaten 4-1 by the Warriors.

Curry averaged 23.8 points, 7.7 assists and 4.4 rebounds for a Warriors team that won 67 games in the regular season and went on to win the NBA championship.

We're guessing Curry is not losing any sleep over this one.
