LeBron passes Celtics legend on all-time scoring list with facial
LeBron James scored 28 points in the Cleveland Cavaliers' 106-103 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, quietly moving past Boston Celtics legend John Havlicek (26,395 career points) into 13th place on the NBA's all-time scoring list (26,406 points).

James passed Havlicek with authority. After having the ball knocked out of his hands on a fast break, James collected the loose ball, gathered himself, and yammed on Grizzlies big man JaMychal Green with his left hand:
James is now averaging 24.9 points per game this season. With 20 games remaining, he's projected to score 498 points over the rest of the season, which would give him 26,904 career points and place him 11th on the all-time scoring list, just behind Hakeem Olajuwon (26,946).
James would need to average 27.2 points per game over the final 20 games to surpass Olajuwon.
