Look out below! Kings' DeMarcus Cousins expected to shoot 3s this year

When you saw DeMarcus Cousins shooting from halfcourt during a Kentucky-North Carolina alumni charity game this summer, you probably thought he was just having fun. But it's time to get serious, as the Sacramento Kings are into their first week of training camp. And Cousins hasn't stopped hoisting from deep, according to reporters at practice:

And it makes sense. Kings coach George Karl is known as an offensive innovator, and Cousins is a multi-talented star. The idea of a true stretch-five, a center who is equally at home making plays from the perimeter and destroying opponents down low, is absolutely terrifying for opposing defenses. If Cousins grows into that role, the Kings could be scary moving forward.
