The Sacramento Kings travel to Dallas to take on the Mavericks. Tonight’s contest against the Mavericks is the second December meetings between the teams. On December 7th, the Kings came to Dallas and defeated the Mavericks by a score of 120-89 .

Without further ado, below is my prediction of the Sacramento Kings’ box score for tonight’s game against the Dallas Mavericks.

Box Score Prediction

I wrote a lot about how the Mavericks stacked up 11 days ago when the two teams met, but let us check back in on those rankings now. The Mavericks currently play at the NBA’s slowest pace and rank 23rd in the defensive rating by allowing 106.5 points per 100 possessions.

I was hoping for the return of Rudy Gay, but he is listed as doubtful for tonight’s contest meaning the cast of characters will most likely be required to pick up his scoring load. I expect another night of balanced scoring behind DeMarcus Cousins from the Sacramento Kings.

I think Cousins will dominate the Mavericks inside again in tonight’s contest leading to a big double-double. Expect Cousins to get a hefty volume of shots leading to big scoring production. The rebounds and defensive stats should come as well and at the end of the night expect a great DeMarcus Cousins statistical line.
