Rajon Rondo visits injured race car driver who flipped car (VIDEO)

Ever since he came into the league, Sacramento Kings point guard Rajon Rondo has been actively involved in his communities. He relishes his annual opportunities to show children the finer points of Connect Four, and he was a consistent presence at various Boston hospitals, usually visiting children, while he was a member of the Celtics.

Earlier this week, Rondo made another hospital appearance. But this time, he was there to brighten the day of a 26-year-old by the name of Kevin Swindell.

If you're a racing fan, the name might be familiar, as Swindell is the grandson of famous racer Sammy Swindell. And you might also be familiar with the younger Swindell from the video of a horrific wreck in which he was involved earlier this month:

Fortunately, Swindell looks to be well on the road to recovery, and he's got people like Rondo to stop by and give him a visit.
