Report: Kings owner Vivek Ranadive, GM Vlade Divac to attend Team USA practice

Published Aug. 12, 2015 2:55 p.m. ET

While DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay settle in for Team USA's minicamp in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Sacramento Kings owner Vivek Ranadive and general manager Vlade Divac are reportedly on their way to pop in for the day.

According to Ailene Voisin of the Sacramento Bee, Ranadive and Divac planned to attend Team USA practice on Wednesday. Head coach George Karl would not be in attendance, as he is undergoing his annual cancer checkup.

On Tuesday, Cousins talked to reporters about the state of his relationship with Karl and how his offseason is going. While Karl's presence at Team USA practice would have made for a nice photo opportunity or two with Cousins that everyone could then scour for physical tells, his absence is more than understandable.
