Spurs, Green reportedly agree on four-year, $45 million deal

Danny Green isn't going anywhere.

A person with knowledge of the situation tells The Associated Press that Green has agreed to terms with the San Antonio Spurs on a four-year contract worth $45 million. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal has not been officially announced. Per league rules, it cannot be signed until July 9.

Green was one of the most coveted shooters on the market. And the Spurs' pursuit of free agent power forward LaMarcus Aldridge led some to believe that they would have to let Green leave for a big money deal with another team.

But after agreeing to a max contract extension with Kawhi Leonard, the Spurs locked down Green, who is also one of the best perimeter defenders in the league.
