49ers' Celek carted off against Arizona with ankle injury

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) San Francisco tight end Garrett Celek has been carted off the field with 3:46 left in the first quarter with a left ankle injury.

Celek was injured while blocking downfield and grabbed at his lower leg when he went down Sunday.

Several teammates surrounded him on Arizona's sideline before he was taken to the locker room.

The 49ers trailed the Arizona Cardinals 3-0.
